Distribution Automation | Elster and ABB introduce joint solutions for AMI and Distribution Automation
Elster will integrate its Advanced Grid Infrastructure (AGI), Alpha-based medium voltage AGI node monitoring and communications platform with ABB's sensor technology, including its new SCC-125 split-core combination voltage and current sensor, for wireless feeder monitoring at the medium voltage level. This new product is a stellar example of AMI and DA convergence in the power industry.
