Is Duqu the next Stuxnet virus?
After expanded research, it may not appear so. ICS-CERT, in close coordination with Symantec and the original researchers, has determined after additional analysis that neither industrial control systems (ICSs) nor vendors/manufacturers were targeted by Duqu as once suggested. A few weeks ago an advisory related to the discovery of new malware, dubbed W32.Duqu was issued speculating that it was written by the authors of Stuxnet. However, now this new threat is believed to be primarily a remote access Trojan (RAT) and ICS-CERT still warns that vigilance needs to be taken. >> More Info
